Site Update and Schedule of Events

Just thought I'd update everyone with the upcoming schedule of events and activities that will be starting soon here at DarkUFO.

Episode Cup
The Episode Cup will be starting on 1st July and if you have not already done so and want to participate in the Episode Prediction competition, you only have a few days left to fill out your predictions. Remember a S4 DVD goes to the winner. (Note: We already have over 1200 people entered). The episode cup, like last year, will run on the homepage with a couple of Polls per day until we get down to the later round, when we will then go to 1 poll per day.

Character Cup
The Character Cup will start shortly after the Episode Cup has finished but this year we will also be holding a similar Prediction competition like we are running for the Episode Cup that will allow you to try to predict all the results of all the matchups. The signups for this will start a few days after the Episode Cup has started. So stay tuned.

Comic Con
Comic Con is fast approaching and we're again sending a team of bloggers to the event to provide live reporting of the event as it unfolds. The team is headed up The ODI and if you are planning on going please email him HERE so we can tell you about what we have planned. The Event starts on the 23rd July and the Lost Panel is currently scheduled for Saturday 26th July at 12:00pm.

Fantasy League
The Fantasy League is still taking submissions HERE and we have already 1000+ more players than last year. You can see the latest Team Totals here. We are planning on closing the Submission just before the Lost Panel at Comic Con as we suspect a few spoilers for the upcoming season to be released. Please ensure that if you want to participate to get your entries in ASAP as there is less than a month to go.

Predication League
The Prediction League is also still taking submissions HERE and like the Fantasy League we've nearly tripled the number of participants this year. We are planning on closing the Submission just before the Lost Panel at Comic Con as we suspect a few spoilers for the upcoming season to be released. Please ensure that if you want to participate to get your entries in ASAP as there is less than a month to go.

In Other News
- We will be holding another Prop Cup as this year and this is likely to follow the Character Cup.
- Also in the Forums we are having a Hiatus Lost Rewatch of all the past episode. It's a great way to remember some of the older episodes and things we may have forgotten.
- The Season 4 DVD will be out later this year and we hope to be one of the first sites to bring you detailed coverage of the extra' and deleted scenes etc. You can find the latest info in the DVD Section.
- We are also planning on gathering another set of questions from you all to create another "Hardest Lost Quiz". The Quiz was taken by over 180,000 people across the Internet and we hope to make it even better based on your feedback from the first one. We will be taking in Question Submissions around the middle of July so keep your eyes out for an announcement.
- ARG watch. If a new ARG emerges we will let you know ASAP and create a section dedicated to it on the site like we did for FIND815.
- Don't forget to join/visit the new Forums to discuss more openly Lost and other shows or just to say hi.
