Welcome to DarkUFO, one of the most popular Lost sites on the net! We hope to have everything that a Lost fan wants: Spoilers, Theories, Screencaps, Recaps, Contests and lots of other great things to keep a dedicated Lost fan occupied. Please have a look around, post a comment, and interact with other Lost fans. Have fun, and namaste!
First of all, I apologize for the lateness of this post. I was, as some of you have surmised, experiencing technical difficulties. The power went out at my house and I had to wait until recently for our internet connection to reset. I don't know what the electric company thinks they're doing. Shouldn't they know better than to deprive Lost fans of their hiatus distractions? :-)
Anyway, what an exciting day! While Juliet easily bested her competition, the showdown between Ms. Hawking and Dr. Arzt swiftly became a back and forth affair, each one taking turns holding the slimmest of leads. It was a very interesting to be able to monitor the progress and dozens of lead changes. In the end, however, Dr. Arzt just didn't explode his way into enough of your hearts. With about 5 hours of voting left, Ms. Hawking took the lead and never fell behind again, winning by 27 votes. She and Juliet will move on to the next round.
The "Hawking vs. Arzt" match got a lot of people talking, and I have a feeling that one of tonight's matchups will generate plenty of conversation as well. Tonight features a battle between one of the most despised characters from Season 3 and a very beloved non-human character. Rounding out the double-header is a battle of 2 mothers- one dead and one estranged from her child.
As per usual, place your votes and state your mind and preferences with a comment of two.
(Barring a super-tight race like this past one, I plan on ending these matchups a tad early, so we can return to our usual posting schedule.)
