Lost Fantasy League- The Incident

Hello Lost fans, G-Man here to bring you a very important announcement regarding the Season 5 Lost Fantasy League.

During the course of the Season 5 finale, there was… an incident.

The incident occurred at the end of the episode when John Locke was confirmed dead and the mysterious Man In Black was revealed as his imposter. The lie he perpetuated through the second half of the season was a great one and, now that we know the whole truth, special care must be taken in order to preserve the integrity of the League.

Because the Man In Black has pulled the long con on us, it appears that many of our contestants' scores have been raised by another. This finale exposé may have the Losties confused but the fact remains that the man we thought was Locke is not one of them. Dead is dead, so the Lost Fantasy League has been under lockdown and decisions have been made.

Because the Man In Black is not really John Locke, I have to revisit every episode this Locke imposter appeared in since “The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham” and revise scores for a multitude of characters. This means that many of you are undoubtedly alarmed as your impressive performance in this season’s League flashes before your eyes. Those of you who did not have Locke on your team and may have felt left behind in the standings will now find yourselves with an enticing opportunity to move up in the ranks and possibly even compete for our top prizes.

The shape of things to come is not yet clear, as we are uncertain as to how drastically the numbers may change. I can assure you though that these points revisions will not do no harm to many of our League leaders and anyone else with Locke on their team. Whatever happened, happened and cannot be changed. If these points revisions leave you adrift, then so be it. We feel that this is the only fair way to handle this situation.

Needless to say, it is going to take me a few extra days to finalize the scores and announce our winners. Whatever the case may be, we want to thank you all for participating in this year’s Lost Fantasy League and we hope that you will sign up for the Season 6 League once everything has been set up.
