With the upgrade to the latest Blogger software, the site can now take Email Subscriptions. Simply goto the section of the site that you wish to be kept up-to-date on, fill in your email address and click the "Notify by email" button. You will then recieve an email per day containing all the new posts for that part of the site. You can always easily un-subscribe at any time.
