Hey All,
Once again thanks to all of you that have waited patiently for this second part of the finale podcast and thanks to those of you that sent in messages, posted comments or Tweeted wondering where it was!?
Well in the mean time another few weeks have passed in this loooonnng hiatus, but as promised we will keep doing our best to help you all through the withdrawals!!
The initial plan was to break this part of the podcast in to two shorter versions, but since we had taken so long to get it out to you guys, I decided to just make it one Super-Sized Podcast of over 3 hours of LOST goodness!!
In the podcast, we cover the Sun/Jin Wedding, Jacob meeting Ilana, and all the other great scenes in the 2007 timeline.
As requested by several of you to have chapters that will allow you to be able to skip back and forth through the podcast, hopefully by the next podcast we will be able to have that as a new feature. Also, the next podcast will most likely be a Season 5 Recap/Highlights podcast with our good friend DarkUFO joining us and we will update you all on Comic Con happenings and plans. So if you have any questions, please post comments or feel free to email them in.
The podcast was posted on iTunes late last night, but for those of you that can not access it there, below is a link to the audio player with a download link.
Hope you all enjoy!!

Damn, Polar Smoke beat me...grrrr. :)
I have been waiting for this like a crack fiend. Finally part two, Thank You!!
As much as Karen drives me nuts with her ideas somes times, I love your podcasts.
Please keep it up. Now I have to go listen.
Most welcome and thanks for being a loyal listener!! :)
Great as always, the theory about the whispers made me think "woah". Ive always thought it could well be the Losties themselves as the whispers but never really thought it made sense with what they apparently say. But them being people who arnt allowed to interfere makes perfect sense.
Man this hiatus is far too long!
Thanks for listening Jason and glad you enjoyed it!!
Thanks ODI
I'm a morning host in Nova Scotia . French Canadian Radio in Halifax.
I sometimes use certains of your ideas ( and quote you) and ask to my listeners to ALWAYS go to your LostCast.
Thanks for the serious of your work.

Have looking forward for this for so long. Thank you! Had both my mother and father in law hospitalised for abdominal cancer in tha last six weeks and life is not exactly peachy right now, but i've been checking ODI ,Dark and Twitter every day.
Have been listening to it twice already and enjoyed it greatly. Just the extraction I needed. So once again thank you!
And about tho whole 'their coming thing' my completely wild guess is: Miles and Chang...But then again I know I'm a stressed out lunatic!
Sorry to hear that amina, hope things work out.
Thanks Dark, obviously I do too. It surprises me too, the things that can help you through rough times. But this time round, your work (and ODI's ,Karen's Vozzek etc.) really does. So thank you too!
Amina,
I am so sorry to hear about what is going on. My thoughts are with you and your family. I'll send positive vibes your way!
We're very happy that we were able to give you a little escape from your stressful time.
I hope things work out.
To all the listeners,

i like dannys(vozzek) thoeries the best the orther two not so good especialy karen's theories.
Thanks, ODI.
Keep the podcasts coming. I love them. I especially like hearing from Vozz.
One thing: Can you guys address something that is really troubling me. Over and over again in the world of Lost we are reassured that Dead means dead. Both Ben and Richard have, at different times, recognized that rule. But also, both Ben and Richard are very familiar with the smoke monster and the fact that it can manifest itself into some very reasonable facsimiles of dead people. Why wouldn't they, therefore, automatically assume Flocke was some apparition being afflicted on them by the Island? That would seem to me to be much more logical then assuming that Locke had broken one of the most sacrosanct rules of life both on and off the Island.
Just wondering. And thanks again for your thought provoking podcasts.
Amina, I'm very sorry to hear about your mom and father in law. I hope the best for both of them, and for you too. Stay strong, and best wishes.

It's a good question. I think maybe it's because Flocke (fake Locke?) was so convincing with memories that actually belonged to him. Memories of dying, getting strangled by Ben, etc... It's a rough time for Ben right now anyway, so maybe he wasn't at the top of his game?
It's also funny how it turned out that our strongest characters - Ben and Locke - both got chumped for the last 5 seasons. I'm looking forward to each them kicking some of the island's ass next year.

I'm glad to see that someone finally agrees with my theory of the Whispers. While you didn't say it, though, I think that the Whispers have been the answer to the show all along. In other words, if someone leaked a spoiler about what the Whispers are, we would know exactly what's going on and be able to fit everything else together. When the final episode airs, I bet we'll all be saying "it was so obvious in the Whispers that I didn't know how I could have missed it!" If LOST is a game, then the people Whispering could be spectators watching from outside the holodeck, or perhaps people who have died and are out of the game.
It's funny because the Whispers seemed so small in the big scheme of things in the very beginning. Now, it's clear that knowing the identity of the smoke monster or the true leader of DHARMA or even what time the 1977 people end up in isn't going to give an answer to LOST, but the Whispers will answer it all.

I have some criticism to offer:
While another poster put it more rudely, I do have to agree that Karen should be allowed to speak more often. Frequently, it seems that she gets cut off in the middle of her sentences and she's never able to finish. The problem isn't that she needs more airtime as much as that she is repeatedly cut off. As some constructive criticism, perhaps in the future you might consider holding back a little until she's finished her points.
Also, I think that the podcast has become too long because there are some times where administrative things are being repeated. I understand that everyone wants to thank each other, and that it's necessary to provide people with an update about what's happening with the podcast in the future, but often these segments seem to be long-winded and repetitive. I think the same is true about the "thoughts in a flash" segment too - it's not necessary because the thoughts are just repeats of what's said later. I like listening to the detailed discussion in the rest of the podcast, but I would enjoy it more if about 15-20 minutes of repetition were cut out of the 3-hr version. Or, simply say the administrative things with fewer words and move on quickly.
Great stuff!!! Just a quick note....what if Jacob's cabin had the ash around it so that Darth Locke, as you put it, couldn't get in the cabin. It seems from the opening scene in the season 5 finale that DL met Jacob on the beach because thats where he lived THEN. It seems as though Jacob use to be in the cabin but left. Maybe Richard used to meet him there, but not anymore. Maybe he picked up residence again at the statue, thus leaving behind the piece of his tapestry to tell the next person who looked for him at the cabin that he now lived at the statue again. Thats why DL was confused at the end of the episode...Jacob was there for a while and didn't know it. He assumed Jacob was at the cabin and used CLAIRE to break the ash, thus finaly getting in with Christian's body/image. I think that DL tried to have Claire kill Jacob at the cabin but didn't find Jacob there. Then Locke comes in and Christian speaks on Jacob's behalf, thus starting a new path to kill Jacob, this time using Locke's body/image and Ben as his killer.
Steve Said...

Steve,
Thanks for the feedback and I was just wondering if you listened to this podcast?? The intro/admin was one of the shortest ones I recorded and there are no Thoughts in a Flash and have not been for a couple of weeks. :)
The length is really only about us having to talk about sooo many things and in my post I explained that this one was going to be two separate parts, but decided to make it one huge one because it took so long to edit and post it. :)
A few people have brought up that we cut Karen off and our intentions are not to cut her off....just could be a part of the natural discussion or even bad editing on my part...
Karen is in Florida, Vozz in NY, and I am in LA and it is a challenge sometimes to be able to know when to speak or not especially when we have thoughts on our mind. We have all though tried to make a conscious effort not to do this and will continue to work on it.
Amina: As my good friends, Dark, Karen and Vozz have mentioned above, I am truly sorry to hear about your family. It can be tough to deal with such issues. I hope things work out and please stay strong!!
Also, it is an honor to know in your tough times that our podcast was a part of your escape. It truly makes me feel so good to know we can just help you in some way.
Thanks for being a loyal listener!!
