Thanks everyone for all the votes and nominations for the best Season 1 Scene. It's now time to select the 2 episodes that will be going forward to the grand Series final where they will battle it out with 2 scenes from Season 2 and 3. You may select as many episodes as you like below, but voting for more than 2 is not recommended as it reduces the worth of your votes. I've also included a brief video snippet of each scene that I hope you will enjoy. Voting will last 3 days, when a winner will be announced and then we move onto Season 2.
As always let us know the scenes you picked and why.

Dark this with the scenes is awesome good job!!!!!!!!!!!.And i hope you will put scenes for season 2 and specially for season 3
Yeah I agree it's a great way of putting it. I went for the others taking Walt in Exodus and Locke's wheelchair speech. I'm very disappointed that the slow motion montage scene at the end of Exodus isn't in this final 7. "Don't ever tell me what I can't do ever! This is destiny, this is destiny.. this is my destiny. Don't tell me what I can't do, don't tell me what I can't.." This scene made Locke my favourite character by far.
Thanks Hulk and yes, Season 2 and 3 voting nominations will follow the same way, as well a producing video for the final 7 in each case.
This was even harder then before. Harder than when MOS, MOF were competing against Exodus in the Episode Cup.
The seven greatest moments of the best season. I went with Deus Ex Machina and Raised by Another, not for what may be the best scene, but for the scene I enjoyed best watching on norwegian television.
In Norway they sent Deus Ex Machina together with Do no Harm (as a double, with News, Sport and weather in between) and I remember how powerful that moment was.
Locke standing in front of Cooper's gate and I had really forgotten about that I wanted to know how he got in a wheelchair, because this episode took me to another place.
And then the light went on. What a beautiful ending.
------
I remember the ending of Raised by Another when Sayid came back and said "we're not alone". Hugo shows up running with the manifest and Claire and Charlie are in the jungle.
And Jack is not interested in what Hurley is saying. And then Hurley says: "One of them isn't on the manifest. He wasn't on the plane" and then we go directly to the jungle with the most creepiest voice of that time: "Hello there"
Wow. I remembered Ethan, a normal castaway that suddenly popped in an episode just like Sullivan (the guy with glasses). And then he was one of the most frightening characters in this series.
Go Walkabout! ^^
#1 Walkabout
#2 All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues
Who would 've thought that Charly would really start to breathe again after the full shot. It's one of the best Jack scenes because it shows that his stubbornness to fix things sometimes pays off. Great acting by Evangeline in this scene.
Well, I'm a sucker for Locke, so I obviously voted for Deux ex and Walkabout. I also voted for ATBCHDI where they revive Charlie, and I think I also voted for the Others stealing Walt.
Don't remember actually. I'd say I could vote for all of them, save for options 5 and 6. That sounds about right.
I voted for the light in the hatch (especially knowing what we do from Live Together, Die Alone), Walt being taken from the raft, and Sawyer telling Jack about meeting Christian. I was sooo happy to see the latter play out, because I was mad at Sawyer when he didn't say anything to Jack at the end of "Outlaws."
I can't believe the slow-moving boarding the plane scene didn't make the top 7...even though these are all very acceptable scenes.
It's pulling up the rear, but one of my votes went to the scene where Hurley tells Jack that Ethan wasn't on the plane. I'll never forget the feeling I had in the pit of my stomach when Hurley said that -- it was such a brilliant way to reveal that they were infiltrated by an outsider. The "sensus" seemed so innocuous up until that point.
My other vote went to the scene where the light was turned on in the Hatch. Up to that point the question was, "WHAT is in the Hatch??" After that scene, the question became much more mysterious: "WHO is in the Hatch??"
I am getting an error that says "PRIVATE CONTENT - We're sorry, but we cannot display this content because it has been labelled private by its author."
I voted for: "All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues-Where Jack and Kate try to revive Charlie after finding him hanging" - because it was a sad scene and that showed how Jack and Kate like their friends and do whatever they need to stay them alive.
And the other was: Exodus-Sawyer telling Jack about his Dad is Australia - because the two men, Sawyer and Jack were always "enemies", and in this scene they are shown like friends, and Jack knowing the truth of his dad was great.
My favorite moment out of all of these was when Sawyer tells Jack about meeting Christian. That was the most touching moment of the whole season in my opinion. It's also one of the first times you see that Sawyer actually has a heart and there's a lot more to him than you had originally thought. It really shows his character development. That is such a GREAT and emotional scene! And the acting is amazing in that scene as well.
I really loved the scene between Sawyer and Jack in Exodus, and I was definitely waiting for it breathlessly ever since we saw Sawyer had met Christian in Sidney. Both actors did so well with the material and the chemistry between Fox and Holloway is brilliant. They're great at going back and forth between best friends and rivals.
My other favorite scene has to be the moment they took Walt off the raft. The second Danielle informed the group that the Others were coming for the child, I knew it had to be Walt. So I was basically screaming at the television throughout the raft scene, and could not have been more excited to actually be right for once.
Unfortunately, I forced to devalue my votes. There's just no way I could pick two of the three I had to. Not that any of the other scenes are weak (maybe Hurley reveals Ethan's status: it's more his delivery I didn't like), but the three are just so perfectly constructed.
OK, first things first. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I'm a Locke fan. There are three elements to Lost: Jack, Locke, and the Island (with all its mysteries, etc.). And what with Jack getting somewhat annoying sometimes....
Locke's "destiny" speech, with the wheelchair reveal, and his anger at the hatch with the light coming on, are no-brainers. BUT, I had to address the "taking Walt from the raft". I didn't watch the episodes on TV; I actually got started late, and watched Seasons 1 & 2 on DVD. Even though it wasn't "live", the scene just takes the biggest turn ever in this scene. Combine that with the disastrous consequences (why just take Walt when you can shoot Sawyer and blow up a raft, too?) and M.C. Gainey's first appearance (one of his best), and there's no way I couldn't vote for this one.
hey dark this is a great setup, probably took some time. keep up the great work.
moreover, lockes scene while pounding on the hatch is my all time favourite scene in all of television, and i'm a huge tv junkie haha.
Thanks everyone, glad you all like the format and videos.
I'm so glad you continued the "This is my destiny" scene with the scene of John Locke standing for the first time after the crash. The wheelchair scene was so moving and powerful, but continuing on and seeing John's anguish turn to disbelief and joy when he realized he had the use of his legs again was amazing to the Nth degree. Bless you Terry O'Quinn and the writers of this show for creating those scenes that still give me chills and bring me to tears each time I see them. Beautiful!
I restrained myself to two votes and picked the light coming on in the hatch and everyone listening to Danielle's distress signal in the pilot. For the first, it was one of the creepiest, most unexpected endings to an episode. For the second, the scene for me was the first time it was really clear that these people weren't just going to be rescued in a week. Locke's "Don't tell me what I can't do!" speech came as a close third. I love the juxiposition between the swelling music as Locke first stands and the screams of the other plane crash suvivors.
Nice one Dark, great way for everyone to procrastinate until Season 4 finally comes on! I voted for Jack + Sawyer - fantastic touching moment with great acting, especially from the Fox.
uff -- missed that I could vote for two scenes but I guess Deux Ex Machina doesn't really need my vote and I did chose Walkabout. Just awesome when it cuts back to the beach after the speech and the toes wiggle.
Locke all the way :)
Most people are voting for Locke's scenes, so i voted for the scene of Charlie hanging from the tree and Jack trying to reanimate him (ATBCHDI)and Walt being kidnapped by The Others (Exodus, Part 2).
I get a private content error and none of the scenes will play for me. :(
I picked the scene where Hurley tells them about Ethan and the Scene where Sawyer tells Jack about his dad. I love the latter scene, how often do the losties tell each other about stuff like that, brilliant
No Vincent, that dog has to win something sooner or later lol Vincent is full of mystery & suspense, something always bad happens when he's around.
Dark, I like how u set this up, but there are quite a few scenes that I personally would rank higher than the ones u posted. Not having a go or nothing mate.
Locke is my ultimate favourite, so I hope Locke wins!!
I had to vote for three. 1) Locke in the wheelchair. 2) Charlie saying, "Guys, where are we?" 3) The Others taking Walt from the boat. All three are powerful scenes with big twists that have far-reaching consequences that are still being addressed through season 3.
And anyone else agree that season 1 had the best scenes?
I liked all the scenes, but the wheelchair scene in Walkabout is my single favorite scene from this or any other television show.
