DarkUFO Character Cup- Round 1, Matchups 19 & 20 (**Closed**)

Congratulations to baby Aaron and to Liam Pace. They'll both be moving on to the second round, where the competition is all but surely going to be more difficult. Aaron's victory continues his trek from the prelims, the second of our prelim winners to make Round 2. We've still got one more prelim character hanging around in the wings yet. Will they be moving on as well?

That will have to wait for another night, as we've got an all female battle royale to tend to. Again, a very racially diverse bunch provide the fodder for our voting and debating pleasure. And, tonight features our first of three Main Character vs. Main Character matchups that are in Round 1.

The first matchup involves to women with miraculous situations- thanks to the Island, one became miraculously pregnant and the other was miraculously healed of cancer. In the second matchup, a determined Brit takes on a feisty American.

All four characters seem to have their supporters, meaning we might finally see two relatively close showdowns in the same day! That also means your votes may be crucial in determining the winners. I'll leave you to it. :-)

Sun-Hwa Kwon
Status: Lostie (Alive)
Sun is the dughter of an industrial mogul in Korea. Her parents tried to find her a worthy suitor, but she met Jin by chance and they fell in love. After Jin began working for her father, Sun became unhappy with her marriage. She secretly learned English and planned to run away. Since the crash, Sun has grown in her freedom, acted as translator for Jin, fatally shot Colleen and is now pregnant.

Rose Nadler
Status: Lostie (Alive)
Originally from New York, Rose developed a terminal form of cancer. She met Bernard when he helped her free her car from snow and ice. After five months together he proposed, despite her cancer. After the crash of Flight 815, Rose was certain that her husband was still alive, refusing to say anything about him at the fuselage memorial service. Since arriving on the Island, Rose claims her cancer is gone.

Penelope “Penny” Widmore
Status: Flashback Character/Miscellaneous (Alive)
Penny is the daughter of Charles Widmore and was Desmond's girlfriend, though she is still in love with him. Penny met Desmond after he was 'fired' from the monastery. He ended their relationship suddenly and took off, but Penny found him as he was training for a race around the world. Penny has been looking for Desmond ever since he disappeared, recently making contact with Charlie in the Looking Glass station.

Ana-Lucia Cortez
Status: Tailie (Deceased)
Ana was among the tail section survivors of Flight 815. Prior to the crash, she was a troubled police officer. On-Island, Ana was leader of the tailies for over a month and led her people to the Lostie camp, where she accidentally shot and killed Shannon. She was murdered inside the Hatch by Michael.
