Hey All,
It is that time of year again!! San Diego Comic Con 09 (SDCC09) is little over a month away!!
If you still do not know what SDCC is, then let me give you a quick update. SDCC is largest comic book convention, but it is more of a TV/Movie/SciFi Fans dream world. Networks and studios have booths and panels to promote their old and new shows and movies.
So of course LOST will be represented and this year is promised to be HUGE. This is the last year for LOST at Comic Con (yes that was hard to type), but Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse promise something "special" for the fans.
In previous years they have provided us with sneak peeks and special Dharma Initiative videos and last year they gave a special prize to each person that asked a question. Matthew Fox was with Darlton last year and there was the Dharma Initiative booth that launched the FAILED ORG ARG, but because of that booth myself and several other Losties were lucky enough to meet and chat with them up close and personal!!
This year my guess is they will be doing something similar with out the Dharma Booth. The panel is indeed scheduled for Saturday, but this year it will be at 11AM and it will be in the huge Hall H again that seats 6,500 (I hear they are expanding it). There will most likely be at least 1 panel at 10AM before LOST, but you will have to sit through that to get a good seat for the LOST Panel.
Last year it was also the second panel and several of you out there braved the early morning hours to hang out and have fun while waiting in line. If you are planning to visit SDCC again this year, I will be there again live blogging and tweeting not only the LOST events but anything and everything else!!
I would love to hang with you all again!! I would say one of the best parts of the weekend is actually getting to meet everyone so I am really looking forward to it all. Tickets are unfortunately sold out, but if you are one of the lucky few that have tickets, then do not forget it is from July 23rd to 26th, with a preview night on Wed the 22nd.
As I mentioned, I will be blogging live for both The ODI and DarkUFO during the LOST events and then for SpoilerTV for other shows and movies. Of course I can not do this all by myself, so if you want to help out with the taking pictures, video tapping, blogging or tweeting or just want to hang out please let us know!!

Good luck at Comic-Con this year mate. If anyone want to join the DarkUFO/ODI team as ODI mentioned email him or me or leave a comment here and we'll send you instructions about how you can join the team.
All you will need is a mobile phone with email or browser capability or a laptop with wireless etc.
Hopefully this will hold me over until next season... This better be good. I personally would rather see another video with awesome totally-canon material. I don't really need another ARG, especially if it ends early again.
I was so bummed to find out that after the plane ticket prices went down, the comic-con was sold out. :-( Send us lots of photos !

Thanks ODI and Andy for the update. ODI sound exiting in the intro written that had me pump up!! Cant wait to see videos from you guys and what will be next for LOST.

I will be at Con Friday and Saturday. I love living in San Diego. Its a 20 min drive to the convention center.

How long was the line last year? How early did it fill up? It's my first comicon, and I want to plan on making it in to the LOST panel!
Yeah, maybe it's J.J. (even though he might overshadow Cuse & Lindelof) or...(one can only dream)...STEPHEN KING!!! Obviously to announce their next project (the adaption of The Dark Tower).
Yeah, I would love for any one of those mentioned above to be the mystery guest.
Heh, what if it is someone like Titus Welliver or Mark Pellegrino? That would be cool and interesting, and that would certainly be "HUGE" to me.

The line was freakin long but that was also on account that some genius decided to have the Heroes panel and the LOST panel back to back in the same room. They do not empty the halls out after panels are done so many Heroes fans stayed in the room taking up LOST fans seats. Hope that's not how it is this year but who knows.

This is my first time gong to Comic-Con and woudl love some help on what to expect and how to be prepared so I don't miss anything!! I will shoot you an e-mail!

I think it will be Malcolm David Kelly or Dominic. But, a 'surprise' guest could just mean any one of the regulars, provided they don't tell you who.
Why the f would Dominic Monaghan be there?
I got in the Heroes/Lost line at 7:30am last year and it was over a mile long. That is no lie. For those familiar, it wrapped from the Hall H entrance, a snake line in the grass to the south of the building, then around the building, past the loading docks, down through the marina, past the Marriott & Hyatt to the beginning of Seaport Village where they started to loop it back onto itself. It was the most insane line I've ever been in! I do admit though, the convention centre opened the doors to Hall H earlier than was scheduled due to the line. One thing to always remember, when those things happen, there's always multiple people to blame: the convention centre operators, the studio/network/PR persons and then the actual convention team.
It would be cool to meet some of you all. I'd love to help, but my laptop is too old skool so no wi-fi for me.

Mystery guest is probably Michael Emerson.
OK, well JJ will likely be there anywhere...Fringe, Star Trek what have you, so a drop in by JJ wouldn't be far fetched.
Dominick could also be there as his new show is an ABC show, could he show up on the Lost panel to start speculation? They're such teases Damon and Carlton are lol (yeah where's that video from last years comic con that we were all so sure was made by Daniel and was going to be part of S5?)
Elizabeth will also likely be there because of V, Sonya Walger could be there isn't she on the same new show as Dominick?
Emilie would be nice but we already know shes coming back for S6.
I'd like to see a group of surprise guests. How about Josh Holloway (screams galore, I can hear it now), the return of (dare I say it) Ian Cusick (omg I hope the place is soundproof), Michael Emerson (yup that'll do it), DDK is a possibility, he's become a real fan favorite. Oh, Jorge is also likely, people love seeing Jorge.
If its up to Carlton it will be Josh, (and if there's really going to be a reset back to 2004, Carlton would love to have AAA) if its up to Damon he'll bring his joined at the hip buddy Matthew who seems to be everywhere these days. Sorry to say it will likely be Matthew, again. Hopefully they'll be others.
