A Unique Online Environment Where Fans Can Explore “Lost” and View Exclusive Sneak Peeks of Upcoming Episodes

ABC.com today launched LOSTscape, a unique, engaging, immersive environment where fans can explore and interact with iconic items from the hit series “Lost.” Fans can also view 34 clips from the show in which the items were used, as well as enjoy sneak peeks of upcoming original episodes not available anywhere else. In addition, they can enter for a chance to win a trip for two to the 2008 San Diego Comic-Con to attend the “Lost” panel in person.
Participants will instantly be immersed in the setting of the island and its immediate surroundings, discovering and collecting objects along the way. As visitors scroll across the LOSTscape, they’ll encounter various items, some obvious, some not. Most items trigger a popup window containing a brief video clip from the episode in which they first appeared, along with textual, story- related information about it. There are 34 items to be found, but once fans have identified seven, they’ll be invited to enter for a chance to win a trip to Comic-Con for themselves and a friend.
The Comic-Con trip will consist of round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations and transportation for two people to San Diego, CA to attend the “Lost” panel. In addition to preferred seating, there will be a meet-and-greet with special cast members and executives from the show. Entry deadline is June 30. No purchase necessary. Same thing happened to me. I found 34 and the special object... I was congratulated and then I clicked to enter... another window started to come up but never fully opened. Gotta do it all over again.
I've only found 34 but the congrats window poped up so I clicked it.
Then it disappeared and now I'm still stuck on the thing.

The object that penguin needs its the action of opening the hatch. u have to catch TNT from the black rock and drive it very carefuly to the hatch to make it blow up. if u dont move the TNT very slowly, it will explode in your hands
the shotgun is laying right in front of the Dharma van...I think its the object that brings up the 409 sneak peak
Nothing too special happens when you blow open the hatch though. I was expecting naked Desmond to pop out and do a little dance.

You click on the third cross to get the key. Then you drag it over to the briefcase.
When you click on the waterfall and get the clip of Sawyer and Kate swimming and finding the case, the waterfall chucks the case at you and it lands close to the dynamite.

I am getting a big gap in the picture and can't see all of the things I need to click on. I see the giant wheels and then there is a black screen and the picture starts back up with the chair with the recorder in it. I have checked the popup and animated media blockers and both say allow. What else could the problem be? I have also made sure I have the latest versions of Adobe flash and shockwave. Thank you
So, penguinjosh, why would you reveal the locations and the objects? You're taking the fun out of it for everyone. C'mon, it's not so hard that you really need to reveal everything!
I guess "... so far" says it all. Anyone know what that "special item" is that you need after lighting the fire and clicking the tent?
Yes - that was a typo sorry- its meant to say golf bag.
The special item is the shotgun which wasn't there when I first played it, hence why it's not in the list.
mtj7- I posted the list for those who wanted it because they couldn't find items or they didn't have time, but wanted to take part. There are plenty of warnings so what's the big deal?
I got a black screen too but I was using firefox - when I opened in an IE tab it works fine. SO open it in IE or an IE tab of firefox if you get a black screen after the intro.
My black screen was due to Adblock in Safari browser. Temporarily disabling it in Preferences let me play the game.
I must say, I wish the store-bought computer game was more like this one. i would have enjoyed it more if we were able to do more non linear exploring.
