Update: 14:30 Thanks to the excellent efforts of tomydingo who has managed to obtain us a version that people without access to ITunes or who live outside the USA can listen to.
Thanks to emily the biscuit for the heads up that you can now download a Geronimo Jackson track called "Dharma Lady" from ITunes for free. If anyone has a direct link to the track that would be great as it's not yet showing up in my ITunes.
It appears that it's only available in the US stores :( which you can access here. If anyone can send me the track I can host it for others outside the US to listen to.
Thanks to lost4evr for the Lyrics.

Thanks for the link, it worked for me. :) I'm guessing you must have an account for the U.S. store, otherwise you can't download it.
No!!! I really wanted to download this!
I can't get this as it won't accept my paypal account for some reason :'(
Could anyone upload it to rapidshare/4shared/sendspace/megaupload or something similar please? (should be ok if it's a freebie) Or email the track to matthewhaywood321@gmail.com
I'd be very grateful!
Of course it's only in the US. Never mind, ABC - we'll keep on buying the overpriced DVD box sets anyway.
I found this today http://www.ephemeron.net/tag/geronimo-jackson/
It sounds to me like the same exact song. Could it be that The Donkeys = Geronimo Jackson?
its free that the best thing but i would have paid for it.
It's pretty much a reworked version of the song Dan posted a link to. The lyrics are changed up, but music sounds almost the same. I would sent the MP3, but it's got DRM on it... even though it's free.
If you want to try to send the mp3 I should be able to host it ;)
DarkUFO, just e-mailed it to you. Is darkufo@ntlworld.com the correct address?
Yep, that will do :) Thanks.
Thanks to DarkUFO and tomydingo! can't wait to hear it! :)
This is great. I so love all things Lost!
I'm afraid I could not remove the DRM. It will need someone from the US to remove it due to the way ITunes works I'm afraid.
I think I removed the DRM, I just e-mailed you the new mp3. I hope it works!
Thanks :) That seems to have worked, nice one. I'll just process and add it to the site. Thanks again.
Yeah...that's the song Jin was listening to when he came upon Hurley, Kate and Jack. How cool. Thanks guys

That's right. But I thought this were The Donkeys - Excelsior Lady? :)
Here are the words to the song:
Dharma Lady
How ya been?
Are we lovers
Or we just friends?
I believe. Oh I believe
I will love again.
Yeah your kisses
It feels so right
But you had another man holed up last night
Oh I believe. Yeah I believe
I will love again
I can always tell
when you've been drinking
But I never know
Just what you're thinking
Oh I believe. Oh I believe
I will love again
You say one thing once
And two things twice
I'm so confused
I can't take my own advice
Oh I believe. Oh I believe
I will love again
Oh I believe. Oh I believe
I will love again
I didn't think I'd read anything worse than Bad Twin... ever, frankly - but those lyrics have managed it.
Hardly Cole Porter is it?
I can hear the detestable quadrangle loud and clear though, so I suppose they've done their job.
Thank you all for giving it to us though. I look forward to watching it picked over.
Any possibility to get a download link at that?
Thank you for putting this up. It rocks all kids of way.
Very awesome. :D
Nice possible easter egg here. I was able to do some more research after I posted that link above, and as tomydingo and freakchiq pointed out the song is a changed version of Excelsior Lady. On Geronimo Jackson's lostpedia page there is snippet from ABC TV Store with this quote:
Keith Strutter formed the rock band Geronimo Jackson in the mid 60s in Detroit. Gathering a solid reputation for their sold-out string of performances in local burlesque clubs, the band packed up their gear and made way to the Excelsior District of San Francisco. From there they released their first album “Magna Carta,” receiving much acclaim and star status to locals in the industry. Reported to be making their long awaited follow-up album, the band retired to Woodstock in 1972, never to be seen or heard again.
They moved to the Excelsior District and their song is a changed version of Excelsior Lady, easter egg?

Check out "Excelsior Lady".
It was theorised that his band would play Geronimo Jackson, and I'm glad they did.
They're a recent band (formed in the middle of this decade) but have a great retro sound.
I've become a fan.
Check out "Nice Train". It has some pretty relevant lyrics:
"They scratch their hair and they say 'wow'" (Sawyer at the end of LaFleur)
"Stuck in a future groove" (Speaks for itself - timetravel)
"We all just need a little time" (See above, but also in needing time to adjust to seeing each other again)
"Has it really been that long?" (O6ers interacting with the Left-Behinders after three years)
I'd love to see a DHARMA disco scene with Geronimo Jackson live, and have "Nice Train" being played as Sawyer dances with Juliet, with Juliet staring daggers at Kate all the while. Would be a nice scene of conflict with such a oddly coincidental song (it's actually about a train journey at the end of a long day out, I think).
Lol, so is Jack singing this song about Kate?
I posted Excelsior Lady here if anyone would like to listen. :)
anyway those of us outside the US can download it?
@sfj3, just get "Excelsior Lady" from your local iTunes store - it has arguably better production and is basically the same song lyrically and musically.
You can see the link to the mp3 file in the Embed code.

@Grusha - the band is The Donkeys (see Andrew Sparkles comment about them.)
They are only "playing" Geronimo Jackson on the show.
The song is called "Excelsior Lady" and has been redubbed with "Dharma Lady" as a crossover with the TV show. Whether the lyrics meet the standard of a Cole Porter or not, this is just a song that was borrowed by Darlton to be used in the show... it wasn't written to describe the "quadrangle", and wasn't written by the show's writers... just a song that was borrowed to play into the fictional Geronimo Jackson gag. That's all it is.
Thanks alot Dark :)
I think it's great that we're all so excited about something LOST even if it is a silly song.....Tomorrow night.
@The Traveler:
Well, I like the band itself. I just happened to discover them through Lost. But I have listen to all of their songs I can find and even bought some on iTunes, simply because they are a great band with music that sounds good to me. I know this because I listened to the full songs, not just the couple of bars that you could barely hear from Jin's truck. If I had discovered them any other way, I'd have still liked them for the same reason. I think there are others thinking the same, too.
@Grusha:
It's already been shown the song was not written for Lost, BUT...
Is the only way to judge a song is by the lyrics?
I know music is subjective, but try to look at a song from all angles before you judge it, maybe?
i love hippy music
How can i get the embed code so i could get the mp3?
@Nathan: I would love that too
This is so awesome! I just spent the last few days looking up everything I could about Geronimo Jackson so this is perfect timing.
Perfect tune. Has that awesome 70's retro sound, kinda' like the Allman Bros. The donkeys was the perfect choice.

Easter Egg...The flowers in the eyes of the white rabbit is a nod to the three dog night song 'shambala'. The art is taken right out of the lyrics.
also, the art reminds me of a Grateful Dead 'steal your face' logo.
No wonder they're so big, they sound awesome!
Thanks Dark for the mp3 link :)
for those who want to save it as a favourite on twitter http://twt.fm/5968
I just downloaded it for free. I can email it to over to someone that needs it but with the I tunes copy write protection the whole song probably wont play.
let me know if you want me to send it anyway

@Jedierica:
How can you download it for free, yet still have the iTunes DRM and be able to play it yourself?
@ Andrew Sparks ~ is the only way to judge a post to misrepresent it? (I would post a winky or point out I'm paraphrasing - but to do so might appear I thought you didn't know I was joking. I trust you do)
I made fun of the lightweight lyrics - which Jack, (also above) I contend were selected to represent the quadrangle - but passed no negative comment whatever regarding melody, arrangement or performer competence.
Hell, I'll bet I'm in a very small minority here in knowing all the lyrics to Jennifer Juniper and unable to speak French.
Lyrically this sucks. But it does it's job: invokes a gentler less cynical time with is limp jangly sentiment and wrong foots us brilliantly for the ensuing back-stabbing bloodbath I hope to see soon.
Hippies put flowers down gun barrels - Dharma have bullets in theirs.
