As we previously reported here is the official word from ABC.
"Lost" Finale Airs 9:00-11:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29
ABC Entertainment announces special two-hour finales of "Grey's Anatomy" and "Lost." The "Grey's Anatomy" finale airs Thursday, May 22 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET), and the "Lost" finale airs Thursday, May 29 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. This marks an additional hour for each show this season, for a total of 17 hours for "Grey's Anatomy" and 14 hours for "Lost." (*Editor's note: "Lost" will be pre-empted on May 22 due to the "Grey's Anatomy" finale.)
"Grey's Anatomy" returns with original episodes on Thursday, April 24 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET), and "Lost" returns with originals that night as well, when it moves to its new 10:00 p.m. time slot.

The 'official' announcements are never quite as sweet as the 'unofficial' (DarkUFO) ones ;)

id definitly take a week hiatus for a 2 hour finale! HOO RAH!
This means there are two hours of Lost that are left in the air.
That means a 2 hour finale for the next two seasons maybe?
That'd be neat!
So just to clear up any confusion, does this mean that we will no longer be getting the three hours mentioned previously? And instead just the two hours?
so does this mean now episode 12 is just a regular episode and 13 & 14 are the finale? or is 12 also considered part of the finale?
See my main man Dark's schedule a couple posts down. The only difference from before is that episode 13 was going to be one hour instead of two.

No, it's still a '3-hour finale', but they're only announcing the last 2 hours as the finale to avoid confusion.
Obviously even though we have the schedule printed in 3 places people still can't figure it out.
That's probably why.
Kind of a bummer that we won't be getting the enhanced episodes for the remaining weeks. That was a great way to get back in the mood before each new epi.
